Vic, Explained (Sort Of)

Once upon a degree I don't use, I graduated into the great unknown and took on a weird-but-wonderful mix of jobs that taught me how to work hard, think fast, and stay humble. Somewhere between making ends meet and dreaming up a better future, I discovered front-end development--and fell in love with the mix of logic, creativity, and mild chaos it brings.

Hi, I’m Vic. I write code that looks good and works well. I care deeply about accessibility, clean UI, and building thoughtful user experiences. I’ve been the organized member of disorganized teams. I have a sharp eye for design, a perfect ACT English subscore that I mostly use to write other people’s emails, and a habit of asking, “What if we made this better?”—then questioning and refining until it actually is.

I’m also kind of the unofficial team morale booster—the one who checks in when someone’s having a rough day or the person who defuses tense moments with a bit of humor and a lot of empathy. Funny how I got into tech to work with computers, and it turns out people skills still matter.

If you're hiring, curious, or just want to say hi, let's chat. I’d love to hear from you.
